Electrical panel upgrades in Austin, TX
Kwality Electric replaces and upgrades home electrical panels across the Austin area, starting at $2,100. Most panel upgrades take one day, and we pull a permit on every job.

What is a panel upgrade?
A panel upgrade replaces your home's breaker panel with a new one, often with a higher amp rating so the house can draw more power.
The panel is where power from the utility is split into a breaker for each circuit. A new panel gives you fresh breakers, room for new circuits, and the capacity for today's loads.
When do you need one?
When the panel is out of space or capacity for what you want to add, or when it's old or unsafe.
- You're adding an EV charger, heat pump, hot tub or a room, and the panel has no space or capacity left
- Breakers trip often, or the panel feels warm, buzzes, or shows rust or scorch marks
- A home inspector or insurer flagged the panel (Federal Pacific and Zinsco panels are common ones)
- The house still runs on fuses instead of breakers
What we'll ask you
A few quick questions on the first call, so we can size the job before we arrive.
- What you need: a new panel, a replacement, or more capacity
- How many amps your panel is now, and how many you want
